Details: | ACTION NEEDED: 5-29-05- Conference call with Paul Lewis, Dave L Yamhill County, etc. It was decided that the water supply was the probable cause of the outbreak and the treatment must be upgraded. Until improvements are made the camp must haul drinking water to fill the reservoir. Camp will haul water from the City of Yamhill. 6-1-05 - HBH Engineering was contacted to provide assistance to the camp to resolve problem. 6-2-05 - HBH signed the contact to start work. 6-3-05 - HBH on site at Camp Yamhill. Complete tracer study (find 27 minutes). Evaluate that the DE filter is ineffective. Start working on SSF installation. 6-4-05 - SSF installed, DE is out. 7-1-05 - SSF flowing to waste. 7-4-05-DWP on site to review SSF and collect samples. 7-5-05 - SSF results for TC and EC removal show 94% turbidity at 70% removal. 7-7-05 DWP on site to collect SSF samples. 7-8-05 Results show SSF removal for TC, EC at 98%. Called Camp Yamhill and discussed with Gordy the CT calculations, turbidity monitoring and reporting. With the levels of chlorine residual, pH, temp and contact time, a free residual of 2 ppm will more than meet required CTs. We gave the camp the go-ahead to use the SSF water. 7-25-05 - Visited camp to collect SSF samples. 7-26-05 - Results for the SSF test show removal for TC and EC at 99%. To finish this project we need as-builds from HBH. |
