| Details: | SUMMARY: Pressure Loss and Boil Notice DETAILS: A water main break overnight caused the reservoir and transmission line to drain, resulting in a loss of pressure. The transmission line is valved off so it and the reservoir can refill. A boil notice will be in effect starting when service is restored and will remain until coliform samples show the absence of bacteria. I drafted a public notice and faxed it to the city and KWVR AM/FM, Enterprise. The citys August routine coliform sample tested positive for total coliform, likely due to a low chlorine residual, so four repeat samples need to be collected. ACTION NEEDED: City to distribute public notice, collect four repeat samples after service is restored. | ||
