Details:	SUMMARY: 3rd quarter 2006 arsenic sample result. DETAILS: I contacted Joel after receiving an alert for arsenic for 3rd quarter at 0.078 mg/L. Joel said after he collected the sample he went to the pumphouse and noticed that the power had been off to the ion exchange unit. He thinks the unit wasnt working when the sample was collected and he plans to re-test. I told him he must submit a written explanation for what happened with his request to use the re-test in place of the original high result. He is also waiting until he gets the results of the re-test before proceeding with installation of aeration. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of re-test and written explanation of error in sample results from 9/20/2006. Provide assitance in public notice and plan review if necessary after receiving re-test result.
