Details: | SUMMARY: System disinfection residual maintenance, location and access easements DETAILS: Jim sent letter with questions about how the system chlorination system works, the ability to maintain a residual and questioning the Districts (legal) access to the well (16) and to enter private property (easements). ACTION NEEDED: Talked to engineer Don M. (Poage) and he explained that the system works with only well 16 and 10 being treated with additional wells entering at the two reservoirs and combing. There is concern that if well 16 or 10 becomes diabled the system wont be chlorinated. Don agreed that the plan all along was for additional chlorinators and/or to relocate the chlorinators to the reservoirs. This was part of the original plan approval and will be done in the future. As for the easements, they were issued to Lamontai Water Works (George Potter). The Lamontai Water Improvement District operates the system and needs the right to access. Don said this will be corrected with some rewording of the recorded easement. Told Jim we will get back to him after the flow testing is completed on well 16. |
