Details:	SUMMARY: 3 of 4 repeats TC pos. 11/13/06 DETAILS: Repeats from space 17, men’s room, and well were pos., women’s room was neg. Well not in use now. Troy said that Eric with Grants Pass Water Lab would be sampling on Mon the 20th. Troy found a problem with check valve at chlorinator that he is sure was the source of the problem. He has repaired the check valve. Told Troy that PN would be necessary due to Nov. MCL violation. Troy said lab never contacted him about initial pos. He didn’t know about problem until after repeats were taken. Had he known about initial positive he would have been able to fix problem before pos. repeats and the MCL violation. Verified with lab that Troy was never contacted about initial pos. Told Troy that we could consider waiving PN if special samples on Mon show that problem is resolved. 11/22- Per Grants Pass Water Lab- special samples collected at well and women’s and men’s rooms pos. for E coli. Special sample collected at space 12 tested pos. for total coliform only. I was unable to contact Troy but confirmed that Grants Pass lab had notified him of results. Left voicemail for Troy at park office re: post boil water PN. 11/30- Troy made more repairs to the chlorine injector. He is sure it is working now. Said that at the time the last set of special samples was taken he was using surface source. When he found out about bad samples he switched to well and posted notice (attached). Now switched back to surface water b/c well is not keeping up with demand. He will have the water rested(sic) tomorrow. 12/12- Spoke with Eric at Grants Pass Water Lab. He has not heard from Troy since Troy told me that he would contact Eric. Eric to collect 5 routine samples tomorrow. 12/18- Per Grants Pass Water Lab- 5 routine samples OK. ACTION NEEDED: One routine sample to be collected in Jan 07.
