Details:	SUMMARY: Request for assistance with equipment recommendations DETAILS: The Wickiup Water District owns and operates 2 water treatment plants to treat surface water that supply water to approximately 620 connections with a population of approximately 1,702 people. WTP-A is a slow sand filter plant rated for 100 gpm. WTP-B is a package treatment plant with coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and rapid sand filtration rated for 150 gpm. The plant was designed for 175 gpm, however, the maximum output is 150 gpm due to the poor water quality produced at 175 gpm. Both plants have post hypochlorination. Received assistance request from Daryl Gardner, operator. The existing meter at WTP-A following the clearwell does not display instantaneous flow rates. A meter that can display the instantaneous flow rate from the clearwell is needed to perform a TC study for WTP-A. Spoke with operator about existing flow meter and the needs for a new meter. Looked at existing meter and vault at WTP-A. Have begun research to identify the proper equipment for the needed application. ACTION NEEDED: Complete research and submit report with equipment recommendations to district.
