Details: | SUMMARY: Alert response for arsenic and fluoride exceeding the MCL DETAILS: On May 15, 2007, routine testing data was received for the entry point of well (L71629), and noticed MCL violations of arsenic (sample result of .021) and fluoride (sample result of 5.9). Bob called Marsha to discuss plans for dealing with these results. According to Marsha, there are only four houses being lived in now, and future homes will include many seasonal residents. Therefore, Gary Burnett told Marsha that the system will be classified as a non-community system, until there are 15 or more full-time, occupied houses. Marsha thinks this may take several years. In the meantime, the homeowners will be discussing plans for possible treatment. ACTION NEEDED: Marsha needs to notify all the homeowners of the arsenic and fluoride levels. |
