| Details: | SUMMARY: AO Extension Meeting & Sanitary Survey Follow-up DETAILS: I received a request for extension of the Administrative Order on 7/5/2007 from Mike Adams. Sweet Home is requesting an extension of the compliance deadline of 01/01/2008 to 12/31/2008 in order to get the plant constructed and running. Joe Carlson, Enforcement Coordinator, joined me in the visit. The main purpose of the visit with Mike and Doug was to get more information on the project delays and to assure their emergency response plan adequately covers loss of service and/or water quality should the plant experience a catastrophic break-down during the extension. A second purpose for the visit was to follow-up on some of the plant deficiencies noted during the 12/2006 sanitary survey. As a result, I confirmed that the operators are conducting filter profiles on a quarterly basis, but needs a little fine tuning in the portion of the filter-to-waste cycle profile. ACTION NEEDED: Joe Carlson will follow-up on the extension to the Administrative Order. I will provide more information on filter profiling. | ||
