Details: | SUMMARY: SUMMARY OF 9/10/07 SITE VISIT TO INVESTIGATE WHY NO WATER DETAILS: Vic expects the first 10,000 gallon tank to arrive by this Thursday or Friday-- a pad is already partially constructed next to the existing Judd reservoir to put one or more plastic tanks. I spoke to Patty Farkas today (Tuesday) at 4pm and she reported that the emergency Judd well is basically keeping the Judd reservoir full at this time (it dropped a foot overnight) so everyone has water although weak pressure continues at the upper elevations. It appears evident that increasing storage at the Judd Rd reservoir is only a partial fix-- there are still parts of the park that experience bouts of low pressure during peak usage and this will need to be resolved. REGARDING THE COMPLAINTS: -"No/low pressure": This is a valid complaint and is being addressed by the water system (see above). -"No DRC": it has been alleged that Mr. Van Winkle is no longer the DRC. Steve Wise has already notified me that he has stopped using Mr. Van Winkle. Mr. Wise is in the process of finding another contract operator to be the DRC. -"The park has been sold twice and the drinking water department was not notified": The park has been sold a week ago and Mr. Wise (the previous owner) has kept me well informed of the situation. {Too Be Continued in other contact reports.} ACTION NEEDED: see other contact report |
