| Details: | SUMMARY: TC+ FC+ response DETAILS: I called Blake this morning. He was on vacation for a week, and got the FC+ result when he got back. The Phone duty person had called their office, but the receptionist did not get the message to a human but wrote a message and left it for Blake. The lab had collected the sample on 10/16 at city hall, at a faucet that was being remodeled. Much of the plumbing was torn up that day. The chlorine residual was 0.7 ppm at that time (per analyzers), but the lab either did not collect a residual or just marked that it was not chlorinated. No repeats have been taken (9 days later), but Blake will collect 3 today. He is confident that they will all be negative. The city buys water from Hillsboro, so they do not expect any actual water quality problems. He said that they have a great coliform sampling plan, and I pointed out that it was not used in this instance. He will work with his staff on making sure the right thing happens. ACTION NEEDED: Blake will call us if any results are positive. 5 routines due for November. | ||
