| Details: | SUMMARY: Low Pressure to ~ 150 Homes Due To Pump Station Failure 10/26/2007. DETAILS: Chuck called to report that from 7:30 AM to 8:28 AM the Shasta 1150 Pump Station was down due to a power outage resulting in a pressure drop to approximately 5 psi in 150 homes. EWEB staff responded by regaining power to the station, flushing the lines, assuring a proper chlorine residual, checking reservoir levels, and collecting coliform bacteria samples. In addition, due to concern over possible back flow/back pressure conditions, staff checked the water for pH and turbidity to assure it closely matched the water coming from the plant. The sample results were absent for bacteria. ACTION NEEDED: None. | ||
