Details: | SUMMARY: 12 months of Raw coliform sampling to ascertain surface water influence DETAILS: Recent information re well: They installed (without plan review) a chlorinator and 2.5 CF carbon filter (for odor removal) in August 2006. So, in fact, the existing coliform tests online are presumably raw water coliforms. A 3" drain was also installed then at the bottom of concrete pit. I am now assuming the missing grout seal checkbox marked "no" on the 1987 survey is incorrect as best I can tell at this point. The distance between the well and the sharply sloped bank is 70, and the distance to the water is another 5 to 10 ft horizontal, based on Steves measurements The well in under a deck on the west-side of the building. There is a septic drain field 140 ft away . Steve sounded the well (or well pump) at 98 ft while Robertson Drilling says the well depth is 110 ft. 58 deep static water level 244 TDS pH of 7.14 9 grains of hardness 3.9 mg/L Fe 0.3 mg/L Mn S odor is present clear - no turbidity. Sept 1997 put a pump in the well ACTION NEEDED: 12 months of raw coliform sampling Alternatively, WS can do 2 MPA analyses more than 30 days apart before April 2008. The former option is quicker. |
