2. Without a well report or other relevant data concerning well construction, we cannot approve this well for use. The options available are to reconstruct the well or to abandon the well and drill a new one consistent with state standards.
3. The new well must be cased and sealed through the sand and gravel at least five feet into the bedrock.
4. Given that the aquifer in question is likely to be fractured bedrock, and unless it is located at least 500 feet from surface water, we normally would require monthly coliform testing of raw water to evaluate the potential of surface water influence.
