Details: SUMMARY: Conducted site visit to help distribute boil water notice after storm damage DETAILS: Mark Edington and I visited the system to help distribute boil water notices after land slides destroyed the raw water intake and transmission main after a severe storm. System made a temporary connection to Wauna Water District until more permanent repairs can be made. Boil notice will remain in effect until long-term repairs are made. ACTION NEEDED: System to distribute Tier 1 Boil Notice to customers, make necessary repairs, disinfect and flush system, and complete follow-up sampling to demonstrate the absence of coliform bacteria prior to rescinding the boil water notice.
