| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert Response for positive Total Coliform repeat test result. DETAILS: On September 17, 2007, I contacted Steve Memminger by phone. After the positive total coliform routine test was taken, four repeat test were also taken for this system. All four repeat tests taken from the water system showed up as positive as well. ACTION NEEDED: Steve said over the phone that the will have five addition routine samples taken for this water system. Since this is a seasonal system, it is approaching its closing date -- on September 30th, the system will be closed until May 1. He plans on taking the five routine samples before it re-opens to the public. He also said that the plans on posting a Public Notice for this water quality alert on bulletin boards throughout the campgrounds. I suggested that he superchlorinate the water system during the winter month when the system is not being used to hopefully cure the total coliform problem. | ||
