Details: | SUMMARY: I called and left a message with Patsy to give to James to do the following: DETAILS: Take 4 repeats immediately. (It was already October and the sample had been taken in September.) If any of the repeats come back positive, take action. Retest to see if action took care of problem. If tests confirm that the problem is resolved, take 5 routines the following month. If all of these are OK, consider the problem solved. I asked if anything unusual had been going on (pipe replacement, etc). Patsy did not know. James called and left me a message the next day. He said, he had done the 4 repeats and they had replaced the pump and he had not chlorinated after this replacement and he thought that was when the bacteria had entered the system. I called and told them to chlorinate after the 4 repeats, wait until chlorine is gone and then take a couple of samples to see if the problem had been resolved. If it has, go ahead and take 5 routines in November. If all of these come back good, they are OK and no further action is needed. ACTION NEEDED: Watch to see what the sample results show and give any assistance that is needed. |
