Details: | SUMMARY: Troubleshoot water system flowmeters for CT Tracer Study DETAILS: Preparation and data gathering for the CT Tracer Study concluded there were significant discrepancies in flowmeter readings within the water system. There are three system flowmeters-- Clarifier flowmeter, Finish flowmeter and North Reservoir (out) flowmeter. As the CT tracer Study requires acceptable flow monitoring data, there is a need to evaluate these meters. ACTIONS PERFORMED-- 1- Reviewed reservoir dimensions, elevations and volumes. 2-Reviewed historical data of all flowmeters and tank elevations. 3-Discuss phenomena of reverse of water through the N reservoir flowmeter during low demand periods. 4- Discuss Mag-Flowmeter specifications and programming parameters with manufacturer representative. 5- Discuss Mag-flowmeter programming parameters, reverse flow issues and level transmitter calibration with instrumentation personnel. ACTION NEEDED: Collect flowmeter and level data during CT Tracer study for intricate evaluation. Evaluate data to provide/disprove flow meter accuracy. |
