| Details: | SUMMARY: Dr. Long called to ask if he could remove the Boil Water Advisory notice. DETAILS: Five routine samples were taken on February 28, 2008 and all were absent for total and fecal coliform. I discussed the deficiencies that John found during the January sanitary survey specifically that the system was not maintaining the chlorinator. Dr. Long has corrected several of the deficiencies and has a new chlorine test kit that he will start using ASAP. I stressed the importance of maintaining at least a0.4 ppm chlorine residual as it does appear that they have bad source water (seasonal positives and a shallow well) and it is unknown whether minimum contact time is achieved. It was not elaborated on during the survey of 1/08. ACTION NEEDED: Boil Water Advisory notice was removed on 3/13/08. | ||
