| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine sample collected on 6/2008 tested positive for Total Coliform DETAILS: 7/2/08 - I spoke with Sven who informed me that four repeat samples were collected last night. He said that Kelly added bleach to the storage tank prior to collecting the samples. I asked him to have Kelly call me to discuss re-sampling protocol. 7/3/08 - I spoke with Kelly. She added two cups of bleach to the storage tank prior to collecting four repeat samples. She added the bleach because the chlorine residual was getting a little low (0.26 ppm). Kelly and I discussed ways to adjust the chlorinator and the solution concentration to avoid the need for supplementing bleach into the storage tank. Kelly also commented that with the construction of the new rest stop in the near future the water system will be replaced. 7/3/08 - Four repeat samples tested negative for Total Coliform ACTION NEEDED: Five temporary routine samples need to be collected in the month of July. | ||
