| Details: | SUMMARY: Construction started on slow sand filter project. DETAILS: Construction on the slow sand filter project has begun. The city plans to stop the overflow at the reservoir due to increased water demand.The continuous overflow at the reservoir was being done to provide better circulation for improved taste and odor characteristics, and is not a regulatory requirement. ACTION NEEDED: City will continue to monitor water quality and CT in accordance to unfiltered requirements until slow sand filter is completed. | ||
