| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine sample collected on 7/24/08 tested positive for total coliform DETAILS: 7/29/08 - Four repeat samples were submitted. 7/30/08 - Four repeat samples tested negative for total coliform. 7/31/08 - I spoke with operator Paige Harrison. She was told by Neilson Research Inc. that the initial positive sample may have been compromised as she left the sample bottle sitting in a bath of ice water for several hours prior to submitting it. There are currently no other theories as to why the sample tested positive. I reminded Paige of the requirement to collect five temporary routine samples in August. ACTION NEEDED: Five temporary routine samples need to be collected in the month of August. | ||
