Details: | SUMMARY: CCR and ASR Assistance DETAILS: System contacted HBH for follow up with her CCR for 2007. She said that they are getting a low interest load to construct a new well and DWP is requiring compliance with this and other issues. She said that she could not remember how to access the CCR writer web site. Further discussion revealed that she had not done the ASR for 2007 and both were late. Finally she said that they did their chemical tests in 2007, but the results are not posted yet on the state data base (SDWIS). I advised her to contact her water lab and make sure that the tests were actually run and the results were submitted. We both got online and accessed the DWP home page. Working together by phone, we each pulled up the CCR Writer website. Next we located the ASR form for systems with fewer than 300 connections. We discussed the ASR item by item and she filled it out as we talked, then printed it out. While working on the ASR, it became apparent that this system has no cross connection control program. There are 4 or 5 underground sprinkler systems with adequate backflow prevention. She said that when the new well goes in all service connections will be metered. Advised that double check valves should also be installed at each of the homes with an underground sprinkler system. ACTION NEEDED: Ms Bush needs to submit the ASR to DWP. When the 2007 chemical tests\s are posted, she will complete and distribute the CCR by going door to door. After the CCR is distributed, she needs to send a copy to DWP along with a completed certification form. |
