| Details: | SUMMARY: Complaint about water quality & potential illness DETAILS: DWP received a call from Barbara Dickens (541-571-6352) whose mother lives in the MHP. She said her mother (and others) had been ill with stomach problems, and that the water had white particles. The mother is now using bottled water in 3 gallon dispensers and is no longer ill. Burnett went to the site and talked to the resident. The kitchen faucet had a "Pure" brand filter. Coliform samples were taken from the kitchen and bathroom. ACTION NEEDED: 11/3/2008 - Sample results showed no coliforms present. White particles observed are likely minerals (calcium?). Mrs. Dickens was notified of results and she still intends to continue providing her mother with bottled water. No further action by DWP is necessary. | ||
