Details: SUMMARY: Nitrate violation DETAILS: I spoke with Brigit by phone today who mentioned that the system may possibly work with MultiPure Drinking Water Systems for nitrate treatment/removal installation instead of Eco Water as originally planned. I spoke with a representative of MultiPure Drinking Water Systems who informed me that they plan to install a reverse osmosis nitrate treatment system on Worden Cafés water system. The representative at 831-335-2236 mentioned that information and potential plans for the treatment can be forwarded to our department at the end of this week. ACTION NEEDED: This system has been in violation of the nitrate MCL for over one year. The nitrate levels need to come down and if Brigit chooses MultiPure Systems for their nitrate treatment then plans must be submitted to the State DWP and our Environmental Health Division for approval before installation as soon as possible.
