| Details: | SUMMARY: System ahd a 8" main failure DETAILS: The system had a 8" water line fail when work was being done on 7/4/08 approx 8:30am. Subsequently the reservoir drained and water to the park was turned off. The operator notified all the users to boil the water before consuming it once water was restored. Water was back on Saturday but a valve that was 6 below grade was leaking. The system still had water but a 1" leak. It was repaired on Monday 7/7/08. I asked the operator to keep boil water notice up until confirmation testing proves the water is clean. ACTION NEEDED: Operator to batch the reservoir to 2ppm..water goes directly to the reservoir from the well. Water for testing will be pulled once chlorine levels are to zero. Operator to borrow HD test kit to assure the system does not overdose and to wait until the chlorine levels are zero prior to pulling the routine test. | ||
