| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive fecal coliform sample DETAILS: 9-12-08 System had a fecal coliform positive from sample taken 9-11-08. Called system twice leaving two messages with instructions for Dan to take 4 repeat samples ASAP. 9-19-08 Spoke with Dan who indicated that all 4 repeats were negative. He wasnt sure what caused the positive but he felt that the sample location was too close to the ground and he may not have flushed the hose bib out well enough. He will chance testing locations and try not to test from that particular hose bib. I told him to be sure to take 5 temporary routine samples for October. I told him if all 5 are clean then he is back to 1 sample a month in November. ACTION NEEDED: Will continue to monitor. | ||
