Details: | SUMMARY: Enforcement action tracking follow up DETAILS: Spoke with Minerva on the phone and she had a question about where to mail the completed CCRs. I informed her to send them to the address on the form. She would send them today as 2005 and 2006 are completed. 8/29/07 I spoke with Minerva and John Duran and informed them SDWIS shows 2 special samples and no routine. They made a mistake and meant to mark one of them routine. Minerva said they wanted to further test their sources to determine which well is having water quality issues. They are concerned about the cost of increasing the number of monthly samples. 9/18/07Met with Joe Carlson and Tom Charbonneau onsite to discuss the Administrative Order. We met with Minerva and Homer and visited each of the 4 wells to confirm each has a separate entry point. We came to an agreement that the water system will go through plan review to provide disinfection for residual maintenance while raw source water is monitored from each well monthly. We will give them 90 days to comply and submit a new request. I also wrote a request to remove a TCR monitoring violation from August 2007 due to typographical error on lab slip. 01/02/08 Spoke with Minerva about progress. She has submitted the plan reviewe fee and is working with Jonathan Smith from Cascade Water Works of Salem & should be completed 1/3/08. Minerva called me 2/21/08 and we discussed conditional approval and she will contact me when all 4 wells have the disinfection systenms installed. ACTION NEEDED: See next contact report |
