Details:	SUMMARY: alert total coliform confirmed DETAILS: Spoke with Kyle today regarding recent total coliform results. The original positive sample was taken 3/3/09 and four repeats were taken 3/5/09, two of which were present for total coliform. Kyle is suspecting a sampling technique error. He stated that the sampling is currently done without disinfecting the faucet prior to flushing and sampling. I recommend he take additional samples which include disinfecting the faucets first to prove his hypothesis is correct. He stated that there are no leaks or line breaks in the east area of town where the hits occurred. He is planning to post a public notice when he has the problem resolved. ACTION NEEDED: post public notice, do corrective action, additional routines in the month of April 2009.
