| Details: | SUMMARY: One repeat sample tested positive for total coliform DETAILS: 10/16/08 - Positive sample from 10/12/08 was collected at well head. Remaining samples were negative and collected from the distribution system. The positive one may have been the result of sampling error per Daniel hough, who left voice mail for David advising him that the boil water notice must remain posted and that he needs to call us back today to discuss what to do next. 10/17/08 - I spoke with David and he has shock chlorinated the system and wants to know what to do next. I told him to take 5 temporary routine samples this month from the distribution system and not to sample from the well. As per my conversation with Scott Curry this morning, I told David to wait 5 days after chlorination to obtain the samples. ACTION NEEDED: See alert dated 10/29/08 | ||
