Details:	SUMMARY: Approved filter request DETAILS: Discuss treatment options for the facility. Informed Dominick the first step is identify origin of contamination (sample source, post-storage, and distribution). Once origin of contamination identified, evaluate best treatment approach. If source is storage tank, best solution may be replace redwood tank with poly or metal unit without disinfection added. If treatment used, noted viruses not adequately removed by UV (unless high power) or bag filtration or cartridge filtration. Additionally, if source in distribution, UV and filters will not provide appropriate treatment and that chlorination is likely the best approach. Directed him to operator certification resources on DWP website. ACTION NEEDED: Faxed copy of the Oregon State-approved list of cartridge filters.
