| Details: | SUMMARY: Reviewed reservoir flushing procedures and backflow device tester information DETAILS: The rest area has been closed since November 2008 for remodeling and plumbing improvements at the rest room building. Mr. Lattin is planning on chlorinating and flushing the 25,000 gallon reservoir and distribution system prior to re-opening, expected in the next 2 weeks. I recommended using calcium hypochlorite powder in the reservoir to achieve a 2-4 ppm chlorine residual. Mr. Lattin also requested a list of certified backflow device testers so the RPBA can be tested prior to re-opening the system. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to be notified when system is re-opened. | ||
