Details: | SUMMARY: Plan review conditions for well DETAILS: I had sent a conditional letter dated May 26, 2009 requesting that bypass piping be installed for the pressure tank and storage tank at Oneys restaurant as part of the well casing repairs and change in chlorine injection location. On June 24, 2009, I spoke with Tim Weaver (503-407-4923) with Precision Pump (503-324-2361), who explained that should the pressure tank be bypassed, the well pump would not be able to maintain pressure without excessive start stop cycles. If the system had two pressure tanks, bypass piping could be installed to isolate one or the other tank for servicing, but with just one pressure tank, bypass piping would not work. I called Steve Pitkin to let him know that no further piping changes would be needed. ACTION NEEDED: No piping changes are needed at this time, however, if the current tanks were replaced, piping should be arranged to allow servicing tanks with minimal loss to system pressure. |
