Details: | SUMMARY: Contact Tracer Study 2800 gpm DETAILS: The City owns and operates a Surface Water system, which supplies approximately 6000 people through 3600 connections. The city treats water from the Necanicum River through a dual-train, upflow clarifier and rapid sand package treatment system. HBH was contacted by Mr Davis following the receipt of requirements resulting from their most recent Water System Survey. Among the requirements were contact tracer studies at the various flow rates. I performed data collection for the Contact Tracer Study test at the 2800 gpm flow rate (1400 gpm per train). This represents maximum flow rate for the treatment plant. While performing data collection, it became apparent that the test conditions were not appropriate and that the testing would likely need to be repeated. A later evaluation of the data confirmed this observation. ACTION NEEDED: Repeat test for 2800 gpm and perform CT testing for 1200 gpm. |
