Details: | SUMMARY: Two of four repeat samples positive for coliform DETAILS: 6/22/09 I spoke with Rod today and he has already shock chlorinated the well. I advised him to recirculate the chlorinated water in the well for 20-30 minutes. He poured half a gallon of bleach in the well and half a gallon in the storage tank. I advised him that two cups per 100 gallons of water is the standard therefore there is too much in the well and not enough in the storage tank. I advised him to add bleach to the storage tank for a total of 2.5 gallons and to thoroughly mix it. He had already opened the taps in the church until he smelled bleach then he closed the taps. I said that when he no longer smells bleach at the taps in the church, he then will want to wait five days and take a special sample. ACTION NEEDED: Five temporary routines will need to be submitted in July. | ||
