| Details: | SUMMARY: Correction of deficiencies at Lafayette Spring DETAILS: Jim called to discuss the Citys progress on correcting the significant deficiencies at Lafayette Springs. Jeff Barry (GSI) and Denny Muchmore have been helping the City troubleshoot the issues. Jim noted that the mid-way box has now been opened. Some of the piping from the upper collection boxes were found to be full of mud and debris, reducing the flow and probably backing up the water into the collection boxes. We discussed replacement of piping (no plan review required if being replaced by similar size pipe in approximately the same location) as well as fixing the lid on one of the collection boxes. ACTION NEEDED: Jim will need to let DWP know when the changes have been complete, so a field visit can be arranged. If it is determined that significant reconstruction of the spring boxes is appropriate, then plan review will be required prior to construction. | ||
