| Details: | SUMMARY: Water capacity shortage DETAILS: Randy left a message today letting us know that South Coast W.D. is running out of water. The users of this water system are using more water than the plant can produce. Randy said the storage tanks were extreemly low and starting to drain some of the sediments at the bottom of the tanks and that we may get some complaints. He said the system did not fully loose all pressure but did get below 20 psi in some areas of the sytsem. I advised Randy that if the system pressure gets below 1 psi a boil water advisory is required. South Coast W.D. is currently going through a rate change request through P.U.C.and hopes to adopt a water conservation rate structure soon. ACTION NEEDED: boil water notice if pressure drops to zero. | ||
