| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed extension to NoV for arsenic exceedance DETAILS: I spoke with George, the operator/manager of the system regarding the extension to the Notice of Violation currently being issued to the water system. I indicated we would allow until March 2012 to comply with the MCL for arsenic which is just beyond the deadline for completion of the Woodburn waterline extension project from OECDD. I also stated that we were requiring quarterly monitoring, public notice, and a quarterly progress report. I stated that the progress report can be submitted jointly between one, two, or all of the water systems currently effected by the project (Chateau Ranchettes, Driftwood MHP, and Shalimar Estates), and also that the report can be submitted in writing or electronically. ACTION NEEDED: Await continued quarterly reports and results and eventual completion of the project and compliance with the MCL for arsenic. | ||
