Details: | SUMMARY: Lead and copper DETAILS: Two weeks prior the secretary from the school called John and provided test results of samples taken by the city. The sample exceeded lead MCL x 2. I had placed a call to Linda and she returned the call. I had discussed the situation with Bill Goss and Gary Burnett. The system had been out of use for at least 3 weeks prior to the sample draw. The sample was taken from the cafeteria sink. As recommended, I asked Linda to partner with the school as necessary to get follow up samples. She was to be sure the line to the point was flushed the day before, sample the first water in the AM that comes out of the tap, let the faucet run for 30 seconds and get the 2nd sample. ACTION NEEDED: Follow progress on samples and establish validity as necessary |
