Details:	SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: Spoke to Carolyn about temporary routine samples returning positive for coliform bacteria. The system had had on going issues with positive coliform tests in January and February. She was told to submit 4 repeat samples and wait for results. System was shock chlorinated in February. Carolyn inquired about permanent chlorination. She was advised that finding the cause of the bacteria and taken corrective action would need to occur before consideration would be given to permanently treating the system. I sent Carolyn via email a guidance document from the state home page about proper shock chlorination for wells. Scott Kruger confirmed proper follow up procedures with Carrie Gentry of state drinking water program. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of 5 repeat samples.
