Details: SUMMARY: Positive coliforms DETAILS: Test taken 9-16-09. Since I was out of town, James Nusrala responded. On 9-21-09 I contacted Mr. Meyer and learned that 3 of 4 repeats were also positive. I explained that this required a public notice be posted. I emailed the template for coliform violation. I asked him to email me a copy of the completed notice so that I can make sure the state gets a copy. Mr. Meyer said there have been no camp sessions for the past 3 weeks so the water in the reservoir was stagnate and warm. Also a frog had gotten into the reservoir. He said the caretaker today is cleaning and disinfecting the reservoir with bleach. Then the distribution lines will be flushed with chlorinated water. I advised him when cleaning is complete and the bleach has been flushed out , he should take a couple fo samples, one just below the reservoir and one in the lodge. These should be marked special. ACTION NEEDED: Asked Mr. Meyer to let me know if they are going to have a winter camp this year so I can change the schedule to year around. Also advised of the requirement to do 5 temporary routine samples just prior to the next camp session. Post public notice and do 5 routines before next camp session.
