| Details: | SUMMARY: Lead and Copper Rule Excursion(LCR) DETAILS: Contact with Al Deichsel regarding 92 days of (LCR). Operator was unaware of the required water quality parameters set April 9, 2009 and the excursion alerts. pH has been running at lowest 6.0 most frequent range 6.5-7.0. September 09 round of testing had a lead 90% value exceedence. Operator states sampling technique may have created lead exceedence operator turned off the water values at 2 sample sites to assure first draw in the a.m. When first draw was taken the water had black particulates as if they had broken free with the surge. This occurred at the 2 sample sites that had high lead levels. ACTION NEEDED: Install a pH control system, estimated time, a month. Sample pH daily until 7.2-7.8 range is obtained, then resume regular biweekly sampling schedule. Operator to notify county when water quality parameters are met. | ||
