Details: SUMMARY: Toluene alert DETAILS: Spoke to Bruce and Karen Kelley regarding the detection of toluene. Bruce was informed to submit a conformation sample for toluene only. This is based on information in the detections above zero worksheet updated in June 2009. Karen stated an average will be taken after the confirmation sample is complete. However, even if the sample returns as a no detect, the average will still be above the action level and require quarterly samples. This information was provided to Bruce. He was also instructed that if two quarters of samples are below the detection limit, they could return to a normal sample schedule for VOC. Bruce stated he will contact his sampling service provider to obtain the confirmation sample. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of confirmation sample
