Details: | SUMMARY: Lead alert DETAILS: 10/15/09 I called Neilson Research and obtained information regarding which sites were sampled: spaces 23, 37, 31, 22 and 39. The highest two samples were space 23, 0.0122 and space 37, 0.0209. I called Errol and asked him to find out information about residence time at space 37. 10/21/09 Errol called and said the sample from space 37 came from a bathroom faucet that is infrequently used. 10/23/09 Another sample collected from space 37. 11/18/09 Garrett from the DWP emailed me the results fo the sample, the MCl for lead was again exceeded, 0.0203 11/3k0/09 System already has corrosion control treatment in place. The next step in addressing the exceedance will depend partly on whether or not there is any historical information about treatment parameters for this system. Daniel Hough has requested the systems file be called up from the archive and we are waiting for the file. 12/21/09 Site visit with Daniel Hough DWP. The corrective action for this system is to increase ph to 7.3, monitor ph twice monthly and send results to the state monthly and sample two rounds of lead and copper in 2010 then sample once annually for three years. ACTION NEEDED: Increase ph to 7.3, monitor ph twice monthly and send results to the state monthly. Sample two rounds of lead and copper in 2010 then sample once annually for three years. | ||
