| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert Id: COLI5846 - The routine sample collected on 11/5/08 tested positive for Total Coliform. DETAILS: 4/9/09 - I spoke with Samantha on the phone today. She says their well was recently deepened-- the well yield has gone from 1 pgm to 12 gpm (Daniel Hough is going to check with Scott Curry as to whether or not plan review will be required for the well deepening). The well and storage tanks have been shocked chlorinated. They will wait until the chlorine is out of the system, wait 5 days after they no longer smell chlorine and then submit 5 temporary routine samples. ACTION NEEDED: This alert has not yet been resolved-- however, 5 temporary routine samples need to be collected after the tanks are online and the new storage tanks/well deepening may need to be approved with a plan review. | ||
