| Details: | SUMMARY: Water quality parameters reviewed, pH 7.51 & DIC 44. DETAILS: Samples for water quality parameters were taken from the entry point and a distribution system location on 11/10/2009. Alkalinity was 165 mg/l & 168 mg/l, specific conductance was 340 umhos/cm at both sites. Field pH is 7.51. This results in a DIC of 44. Also, a lead & copper sample was taken at 550 W. 12th Street. The result for copper on 9/09/09 was 2.46 mg/l, and on 11/10/09 the result was 0.555 mg/l after a few seconds flushing. This was done to show the homeowners that the copper result is well below the action level once the tap is used. ACTION NEEDED: Water quality parameters will be taken again during summer months when sources are combined groundwater and surface water. Homeowners with copper results above action level notified to flush water taps before use. | ||
