| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up on January total coliform positive DETAILS: System is on public notice (tier II) and providing bottled water to the hatchery since coliform MCL on Jan 7th. Spoke with Mark about the follow up 5 temporary routines taken on 2/8/10. All 5 came back coliform absent. Three of the five locations were at locations where the 3 total positives occurred in January. Mark and I discussed that these results, combined with the coliform absent sample taken at the USFS Eagle Creek CG spring source in early January, indicated that bacterial contamination had likely diminished. ACTION NEEDED: Hatchery to take 2 special bacti samples in early March, at 2 of the three locations that tested positive in January. If both of these two results are absent, I indicated that I would feel comfortable indicating MCL is resolved, and having hatchery lift public notice and discontinue providing bottled water to employees. DWP to provide support until MCL is resolved. | ||
