Details: SUMMARY: Colliform positive 1/22/10 DETAILS: Following was discussed by phone and then emailed: Do public notice immediately. Look for how contamination might be getting in and then fix it. Disinfect the entire distribution by adding a strong dose of chlorine 2 extra cups bleach for every 100 gallons of water for 8 hours then flush it out. Remember to take 5 temporary routine samples in February if the problem has been fixed the samples will come back clean. ACTION NEEDED: as above
