Details: | SUMMARY: Ecoli results 1/20/10 DETAILS: Following discussed by phone and then emailed: Today take 6 different samples , one from your tap and mark the lab slip repeat. One upstream at a neighbors lot and mark the lab slip repeat. One down stream at a neighbors lot mark the lab slip repeat. Tow from another place where customers can get water. Mark the slip repeat and one from the well head mark the lab slip source. If all 4 repeat samples and the one source sample come back clean, post this public notice within a few days. Take 5 samples in February from different places in the park any where people can use the water mark the lab slips as temporary routine. If any of the 4 repeat samples show the presence of coliform bacteria you must immediately post public notice. ACTION NEEDED: Advise you chlorine shock the system as per your emergency plan while looking for the contamination source that needs fixed. Try and trouble shoot. Remember in February you must take 5 more samples from the well head mark these samples as source. If more e.coli is found expect to keep the boil notice posted until a legitimate disinfection system is installed. If needed call me Tuesday at 541-756-2020 ext 513 | ||
