| Details: | SUMMARY: Turbidimeter & surface water treatment DETAILS: Bob is acting as a private consultant with Sleepy Hollow and called to report he was taking their turbidimeter to see if he could get it calibrated. He said he might end of mailing the device to the manufacturer for service that would leave the operator with out a turbidimeter for several days or weeks. He said he would tell the operator, Frank Walker, to note on the monthly surface water report that the device was being serviced. I told him this might leave the system in violation and make public notice warranted. Considering the need to fix it, this sounded like the best case scenario. Also discussed needs identified during survey performed in December, particularly coliform requirements, turbidity, finished quality of water and LT2 requirements. ACTION NEEDED: Immediate goal is to provide functional equipment for turbidity, pH and chlorine readings followed by creating treatment scenarios for the owner to consider. | ||
