Details: | SUMMARY: System survey defects follow up DETAILS: Coliform samples made on 2/24/10 and a survey follow-up was conducted at the request of Karen Kelley. Attached is the deficiency summary created as part of the survey conducted 4/29/08. Two coliform samples were drawn and neither showed presence of coliforms. Space 5 showed a residual of 0.4 mg/L and space 14 showed a residual of 0.3mg?L. The numbered defects are in CAPS followed by comments made on 2/2410 noting progress made toward correction. Need to meet minimum residual of 1.2mg/L at 1st user. Anna said she had been monitoring this while Glenn is laid up. In pump house, it was holding around 1", like 1.02. I told her that 1.2 was the minimum but she countered that she was confident their PE had said 1/02. When I asked about written daily records she did not offer to show them to me. I did not press to see them as my visit was virtually unannounced and Glenn was not at home. The short distance between space 5 and the pump house made me concerned that chlorine only measured 0.3mg?L. Install flap valves for tank drains. Tanks are not In service but backhoe work shows progress toward tank pads being poured soon. Lock access to upper tank. Elected not to locate and inspect this tank due to the late hour/fading light. Sample for DBPs. Accomplished 9/3/08. Update O&M manual. No documentation of completion as of 2/24/10. Meet CCR requirement. Not done as of 2/24/10 ACTION NEEDED: On going needs as noted above. |
